Truth: You are always in control of your healing hypnosis session. You are aware of what is happening and can come out of the hypnotic state as you choose. The practitioner is merely a guide, but you lead the way.

Truth: Almost everyone can use hypnosis if they are willing. Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that we experience daily. There are instances where an individual would have a more difficult time in a session setting.

Myth: Hypnosis can make you do or say things against your will.

Truth: Hypnosis is unable to make you act against your will, morals, and values. Unlike manipulation, it is a collaborative process where your subconscious mind works in alignment with your conscious intentions and goals.

Myth: Under hypnosis, I might say something I don’t want revealed.

Truth: Nothing is said that you want left unsaid. Hypnosis doesn’t force you to share anything you are uncomfortable with. You remain aware and in control, choosing what to communicate and what to keep private.
